What is self-efficacy?
*Self-efficacy is often defined as the belief in one's abilities to reach goals and achieve desired outcomes. It is very important for all students to have a high self-efficacy for the following reasons:
*Students who have a strong belief in themselves are most likely more motivated and eager for challenges. These hopeful students try their best in school and blame themselves instead of others when they do not succeed in their endeavors.
*Students who have a high sense self-efficacy are often not discouraged for long periods of time since they are determined to reach their goals. However, students who do not have strong self-efficacy do not believe in their abilities to make their dreams become reality and therefore often do not work very diligently for anything.
*Students who do not believe in themselves often avoid challenges, get bad grades, and do not aspire to become the person they truly want to become.
